Mildenhall
Mildenhall Postcard

This postcard was purchased from the post office-general store in Mildenhall. You see two pubs, the church, and a small stream. This is the Kennet River, named after the Roman outpost Cunetio (or vice versa - who's to say). Kennet Square, PA is named for it. At one time a Roman mosaic floor was to be seen somewhere near here. The view is west toward the church (Minal).
