Although the store is not an old building, it is typical of the remaining village general store/grocery stores, which function rather like an eccentric convience store of the 7-11 variety. In the back is a small back room or booth where stamps are sold, mail gathered or handed out. Mail is not delivered - at least in town, people are expected to pick it up. The proprietors apologized for not having come from the local area.
